Meyon Mordechai Receives 12 Classes at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute for Open Call Audition

The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute has selected Meyon Mordechai of Atlanta, GA to receive 12 free classes at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute for her audition that she submitted for the June talent search. Like the previously selected actor, Simone Renault, Mordechai will be attending the Los Angeles campus.

Each month Cast It Talent holds an open call where actors can submit an online audition to be entered into the contest. All an actor has to do to be considered is record themselves reading a five-minute monologue or scene of their choice and upload it to the site.  Then Creative Director, David Lee Strasberg reviews the self-taped auditions and selects one actor each month to received 12 free classes at the Institute. Actors interested in participating in the next open call can simply go to http://strasbergsubmissions.com to submit their audition.

The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute offers actors the opportunity to pursue their work systematically and to gain firsthand knowledge of Method Acting concepts. Through actor training, outreach, and the preservation of archival materials, the Institute works to further the legacy of Lee Strasberg and prepare actors for the world of acting.
